We had a very successful season!  We had a great group of young girls who worked hard all season long and constantly improved as individuals and as a team!

We finished 1st in Silver at both the SFY tournament on Feb 1st and the NW Jrs Spring Classic on March 14th and 15th.

The girls had a great time traveling to Spokane and playing in the PNQ March 27-29.  They played very well against some very tough competition in Spokane and finished tied for 7th out of 17 teams.

On April 18th we went North to Mount Vernon to play in the Tulip Festival tournament.  We won our pool (beating Evergreen Jrs and OVC, two teams we had never previously beaten), won our quarter-final and semi-final matches, and then lost two close games in the championship match to OVC, finishing 2nd overall!  We then went across the street to a local teriyaki restaurant for a post-tournament dinner celebration!  I doubt if that restaurant has ever had a party of 25 volleyball players, coaches, and family before!  But they seemed to enjoy us being there (even if we did rearrange all of their furniture) and we had a good time!

Our last tournament was the PSR Championship tournament on May 9th where we finished tied for 5th out of 19 teams.

The girls just kept playing better and better volleyball all season long!

A special thank you to our wonderful assistant coach, Bethany Frieler!  Have a great time at Oregon State, we will miss you!

And also a big thanks to our KJ 18 Baden players who came and helped us during the season, Lauren Campbell (who gave up a couple of full days to come help us at some tournaments), Jessie Genger, Stephanie Shumaker, and Marlayna Geary!  I expect you to come help next year whenever you're in town!
